BoobyBiome Founders Recognised in Hurun UK Under 30 List for 2024

BoobyBiome’s co-founders, Dr. Lydia Mapstone, Dr. Sioned Jones, and Dr. Tara O’Driscoll, have been honoured in the prestigious Hurun UK Under 30 Young Entrepreneurs to Watch 2024 list. The trio has been recognised for their exceptional contributions to the biotech sector and their pioneering work in infant health.

The Hurun UK Under 30 list celebrates 82 of Britain’s brightest young entrepreneurs driving growth and creating jobs across a variety of industries. With a combined valuation of over £2.3 billion for the featured companies, this year’s list includes notable names such as Olivia Jenkins of D. Louise and Levi and Teddie Levenfiche of PerfectTed, alongside rising stars like BoobyBiome’s founding team.

Revolutionising Infant Health Through Biotech BoobyBiome, founded in 2019 at UCL’s Institute of Child Health, is on a mission to ensure every baby can access the benefits of the breast milk microbiome. The company has developed innovative products, including a breast milk storage device to preserve natural probiotics and a synbiotic supplement to support the gut health of formula-fed and preterm infants.
