BoobyBiome, a pioneering biotechnology company dedicated to improving infant health, is proud to announce its inclusion in the prestigious shortlist for the 2025 RFSI Europe Pitching Event. The event, themed "Driving Planetary and Human Health through AgriFood Innovation", will take place in Brussels on February 26–27, showcasing top start-ups advancing the connection between planetary health and human well-being. RFSI (Regenerative Food Systems Investment) and its partner, The First Thirty (TFT), launched this initiative to spotlight innovations that contribute to sustainable health outcomes.
As one of only ten companies shortlisted from across Europe, BoobyBiome is recognised in the Food as Healthcare category for its groundbreaking work translating breast milk research into innovative solutions for infant health. The Food as Healthcare category , where BoobyBiome is featured, celebrates technologies and solutions that leverage nutrition to improve health resilience, longevity, and wellness outcomes. BoobyBiome joins a diverse group of transformative start-ups addressing critical issues across agri-food systems, from ecosystem regeneration to intelligent supply chain solutions and personalised nutrition.
Antony Yousefian of The First Thirty highlighted the importance of the shortlisted companies, stating:“Despite the funding environment, this shortlist shows that European innovation is very much alive and kicking. Every one in this shortlist is driving a large economic benefit in the direction of multiple stakeholders groups in the food system.”
The four finalists selected from the top ten will pitch their innovations at the RFSI Europe 2025 event in Brussels next month, competing for an opportunity to gain visibility and support among leading stakeholders in the agri-food and investment sectors.
